Fashion is more than skinny jeans expensive shoes and gorgeous jewelery. Fashion is most definitely an art . A Lot of designers love to express themselves threw making interesting maybe "odd " pieces . Here are a few of my favs. enjoy

 

This dress is made from *Skittles and M&Ms 

This dress was made out of *Tide boxes 

Well it pretty obvious made out of *teddy bears (lol)....

     Made entirely of laminated and bent wood (and some bolts to hold it all together), this outfit designed by Grace Johnston can actually curtsy! When you pull on the rings at the sides, the cables make the skirt rise

Recently the Flower Council of Holland and Holex Flower designed two gowns made completely of Dutch blossoms that debuted at the opening of the New Amsterdam Pavilion in New York. Designed by Niels van Eljk and Miriam van der Lubbe, the two dresses -- named Miss Blue and Miss Sensuous -- used everything from orchids and roses to dyed asparagus.

Miss Blue weighs 220.5 pounds (or about twice the weight of the average catwalker) while Sensuous is a whopping 385 pounds.

*Well there u have it. Theses are just a some of my favorites. They are odd and beautiful. Go research for yourself . it will surprise you how creative some of theses designers are.

Birds of a feather flock.....to my closet :

*Feathers and Lace have been every where from Rock icons (*steven tyler ) to Diva stunnerz (Beyonce ) . The images above are from the *Channel Spring /summer 2011 runway show. 


There are a lot of different ways to implement feathers and lace into your look. Here are some examples, along w some of my "dont do's ":


Sexy lace:

This
Look is obviously more on the extremely sexy "see threw".
That can be fixed easily . By throwing a Savvy blazer or Vest over some of these top you can make this Business causal.
*Make sure you step into natural and artificial light before you head out. Get an understanding on how the shirt looks .










Colored Lace:

almost yummy enough to eat! 
Lace Looks great in color! *side note the better the lace ($) the more the colors pop fact.
i shouldn't even have to tell you how to make this work.....


















White lace :

Is always really cute and very girly...
Problem is if you wear the length to long or the material is too heavy . You Run the risk of looking like you got your Grannyz dress on. im not even joking ! Or if you attempt to be very modern w the lace and it comes out looking costumey .














Looking age:

Its not just the actual feathers that are dope. its the shape or the graphic of the feathers.

*on heels they can really help make an outfit stand out from the rest.

On to the earrings :

* I'm a fan. But must be done right. love seeing the bright colors pop against a dark dress or shirt. 

 *like my girl miley ...baby girl ur beyond trippn. Love the Ray-banz.

Those two dead birdz on your earlobes gotta go! lol 

*The shorter ones just look more laid bk and mix well with an array of styles.

**Hair featherz:

*This look ...Is soo up to the individual. Cause i swear im on the fence.Some ppl look interesting rocking it. Others look like their trying too hard! but at the end of the day its how feel in what you wear that matters.

D.Rose   this is my special thank you to chicagos MVP!!
 Even though we lost last night to the rat bastards (miami heat). He has done an outstanding job all season.
I truly believe he has grown exponentially! He's brought the love of the game back to chicagos heart.
The man put his soul on the court night after night! All he ever asked was that his fellow players did the same.

The art of letting go:

She stood in front of them..

watching the small clouds float from her frosted lips.

the air chilled with  ice particles, 

swirled lifting her loose hair around her..

She stood there in front of them,

small in appearance.

they continued to gather to stare .

to judge....

yet she stood there in front of them.

as if captured in a snow globe 

she remained still.

while the world around her

rotated with flurries of snow and wind.

They stared at her with absolute wonder.

"why"they wondered ...

"why does she remain?"....

They were taken back that they couldnt fill the small girl

with fear.

 she continued to stand there .

When they all had filled the small field to stare apon the

fearless girl ...

The crowd remained still .

unsure of what to expect .

she lifted her arms above her head...

Her bare palms catching crystallized snow flakes.

she began to slowly stomp her petite feet.

causing little puffs of snow clouds to rise 

from the ground beneath her.

Then to their surprise the little girl began to sing.

a melody that rang louder than the wind and their gasps..

every melodic note she sang out pounded against their 

hearts!

Beating ,beating at them .

Her song rose and vibrated threw the distance between them..

Grown men fell to their knees . 

engulfed in the sadness of their past sins.

women rubbed at their empty wombs..

longing for the warmth of life that once grew within them.

siblings unknowing reached for each others hands.

The line of judgment that  once stood so fierce..

crumbled at the girls song...

as they began to truly hear her song .

they all realized that:

 the girl was only singing the same words over and over...

"freedom comes in forgiving yourself,

forgiveness starts with me...."

Then without any waring 

the little girl

closed her mouth..

smiled at them ,turned 

without even a backwards glance.

And like that she was gone.

all that remained were the people.

Ya'll gonna have to trust me on this one. Their very flirty and remind me of summer on the board walk. They add height and flavor to outfits. esp if ur trying to dress the fit up and not wear too many accessories.

Black Faux Leather Open Toe Platform Heels:
I like that theses have a lil splash of edge to them w the studs.
I wouldn't recommend rockn theses during the day. Their for sure night shoes...

Black Faux Leather Studded Open Toe Heels:
Im soooo drooling over theses MFs! i would strap them on in a hot sec~ I guess im really feeling the rock-goddess look ! also a night only shoe.

Blue Fabric Floral Print Platform Pump Heels:

 Theses are TOO adorable!!! They have that doll house feel to them but still runway chic with the black heel .These are transition heels day to night . very easy .

CRazie flyazz shades

Sunglasses or as i call them "shock blockerz"(u pull them down when u wanna shock others w your beauty).

Now with so many choices and brands its kinda hard to pick the right one. 

So ive been doing some searching . 

Theses are the ones ive found very pleasing to the eye (yes pun intended lol):

Gucci aviators are really cute. one catch, i think they look better on males vs females.  Now if you have very defined cheek bones or facial features this might work for you. price range for theses r $125 + depends on how much work your willing to put in to find the right price for you. be vigilant. <3

Gucci men , i love the shht out of these!! truth i'd rock the hell out of them! lol Their very similar to the aviators but if you look closely you can see that the bottom of the frames have a circular shape. more round. Where as most Aviators have the oval shape.

Victoria Beckham  sprg-summer 11 line. 

Theses are really cute i like to call this style "shutter bugz" 

Most celebs rock them to feel distance between them and the paparazzi (which btw means mosquito in Italian).

I would suggest strong jaw lines and thin faces for this shade. Also dont go over board w "super" big frames if you are tiny. cause then you will look like a bug. 

 Cat -Eye shades are supposed to be the meow in Cali right now. Their really not my style but shit if they look good on you ROCK EM!

The one on the far left look like shes tryn to hard and its just not working

The one in the middle looks modern and reminds me of black eye peas swagg. im diggn it.

Now the last one on the far right, looks hella chill . almost Retro 70s chic. Notice how she wears a jacket with a lil shoulder padding and a slight arch.

It mimics the shape of her glasses. which to me gives the outfit balance. So even though she has  on a "throw bk "look. The outfit still looks trendy and relevant.

Heart shaped are bk ..

Their very cute . For the ultra girlie girl.

Or your can make them a lil more "rock n roll" by getting the ones with skulls and bones on them.

those are also hot!

Ray bans w flare . I call theses the "kool kidz" look.
They technically dont even have to be Ray bans the common factor amongst them is the shape. They have bright colors and unusual mixes.I really, really like this style . Its playful and has a fresh feel to them .
I also think this is a cross over style . skaters, Bboys kinda put them on the map.
Then celebs made them more main stream .

Classic Banz . You can also get theses in a multitude of colors. these are VERY cute on men!
Esp if they know how to rock with their outfits.
