Obama's Tucson speech

Last night Obama gave a profound and moving speech about the tragedy of the weekends mass shooting in Arizona .
At the memorial he spoke of unity, our nation needing to do better as a whole.  He seemed emotional at times and had a few long pauses.
The president was extremly respectful in my opinion to the victims and their family.
When most have been playing the blame game recently , focusing on the medias mis use of power. genral corruption amoug politicains. Obama made it very clear that he wanted to focus on the fact that we all are connected. That we as neighbors ,friends ,coworkers can and should do better by just being better. Near the end of the speech when he spoke about the 9yrld victim . He spoke of youthful belief in our country and goverment. Speaking on how we can all learn from the little girl who lost her life.

(Obama's remarks came four days after a gunman opened fire at a political event outside a supermarket in Tucson. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in critical condition after being shot in the head. The shooting left six dead, including a federal judge and 9-year-old Christina Green .AP)

disturbing......either way , Obama did an outstanding job in showing strength and compassion.

Awakened

Awakened is the 8th installment of the "house of night series". It recently came out on Jan -04-11. Yes i had mine pre ordered  from Borders lol. In this book the main characters in the story are  faced with severel moral dilemmas. The pace of the book is good. There were some page turning moments. if u like the "vampire daries " or the "twilight saga" this book is right up your alley .
The whole "house of night series" is based on young (fledglings) vampires. especially Zoey who is the heroin of the series. she have finally returned from the other world with her guardian Stark (who by the way is smokin hot). They return to face zoeys nemesis Nerfet (cant stand the hag).  i wouldnt recommend starting this series out of order.
Marked is the fist of the "house of night series". all these books are very fast reads,Young Adult .  This is not a most read,but i highly recommend it if u want to start a interesting series. Warning theses books are highly addictive lol so proceed w caution.

Need a fast and yummy salad low cal:

Tomato and Avocado Salad recipe – 125 calories
Ingredients:
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 avocado, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup diced red onion
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and toss together.
2. Let stand for about 5-10 minutes before serving.

Servings: 4

Dont leave the house until u feel like a million dollars. nights that start on some BS generally only end w u in a pile of shit! 
ONLY go out w people that keep a smile on their face and are drama free!
Dont spend more than u should cause if u do, the next morning you'll just be mad that all u got out of your money was: a hangover and wrist banns from different places.
Also know when to call it a night . 
*speaking from personal experiences its sooo much better to leave w pride rather than stumble and wanna hide.lol.
I dont care what diet  your on eat before you sleep . doesnt have to be anything big but a small treat . Then go to bed w a smile on your face. cause you just showed everyone how to use Lady luck *wink

Jersey shore season 3 started last night on a drunk note. The infamous snooki brought one of her friends form jersey to replace Angelina (from prev seasons) . Dina is a hot mess but extremely funny within the first few hours of meeting her new roommates. she  gets wasted and naked in front of muscle man himself mike aka the situation .  Sammy and Ronny are still together  which we all know is a mission fail.  sammy gets into it  with the new roomate over her overzealous giggles . long story short snooki looks  burnt up w red hair. paulie and vinny still have bromance. Mike still vain for no damn reason and still looks like and old  man body builder . Ronnny and sammy are still the biggest douche bags to hit MTV since...............well their the biggest lol. The show ended abruptly w sammy and jwow throwing blows . This folks is trash tv at its most amusing level.

 

Random thought : R there ppl in the world that are meant to be alone? Not like they don't enjoy others, they just prefer their solitude. No kids or partner?

THank GOD its friday! Its been a lOng. 1st week of the year. Bout to go make some coffee and "truly" wake up.

2 cups of coffee

yup yup, jumped out of bed made coffee, in my amazing coffee maker. Got lil kyle out to school on time and started my day w a smile. I love my coffee!  #imjustsaying lol.With so much to do today i have to stay focused and on point if theres anyway im gonna finish.
